Cannot uninstall Creative Cloud

I'm beginning to truly hate Adobe.

First, I never installed Creative Cloud.  It literally showed up one day about a month ago and ever since, all my product updates have been screwed up.  I have no idea how it decided to install itself but I'm over it.

Second, when I contacted Adobe, I was told "it's free, just use it".  Seriously?  Maybe if it worked!

Third, I discovered that not only can I NOT uninstall it (every time I try I get a "creative cloud uninstalled with errors" message and it is still listed in my control panel -> programs and features list).  The "best" advice I have found was to install Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool but the problem here is that it does not allow me to uninstall ONLY the Creative Cloud.  It wants me to uninstall ALL my Adobe products! 

How do I get rid of this completely useless "tool"??  I have wasted tons of hours on this horrible "product" and my applications STILL don't work correctly and I can't apply the updates.  I'm furious with Adobe for doing this.

Can anyone offer any suggestions on how to get rid of Creative Cloud?  Thank you in advance!

I'm in the same boat here, no network, just a guy and his home PC and about 10 adobe programs that will not go away. I tried everything, no .log file was created, and just learned that Adobe's 24/7 chat was closed (might want to rethink what you call your chat support)  I have a bad habit of being one of the first people affected by a major programming flaws and software updates. So it's 2 people now, so just wait, soon there are a lot more pissed off people to come. Just a heads up. I'm just wondering if adobe understands how long it takes to clear a system drive and start all over because of an unchecked piece of coding on their part that can't be undone?

    Smokeej please see post #5 which contains a link to the steps necessary to install the Adobe Creative applications included with a Creative Cloud membership.

    If you are finding that applications are regularly getting installed to your computer without your knowledge then I would recommend changing your computer account passwords.  You may also want to consider running normally in a Standard user account depending upon the system requirements for the applications you are running.

    Jbuck2010 I am sorry you have faced a frustrating experience with your Creative Cloud membership.

    When you try to apply the update do you receive any specific errors?  If we can determine why the update is failing then it may also be related to why you are unable to uninstall the applications using the normal uninstaller.

    I would recommend checking the installation logs for the updates for the specific error messages.   You can find details on how to locate and interpret the installation log files at Troubleshoot install issues with log files | CC - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cc.html.

    Apparently I am not being clear.

    I am not interested in wasting any more time troubleshooting the Creative Cloud tool in relation to my other applications that work just fine.  I want Creative Cloud GONE.  I NEED it GONE. 

    Everything was fine until it installed itself on my machine.  It's been nothing but trouble since and it will not uninstall.  Now I have a second, unwanted, tool called Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool that also does not work.  It's been sitting there with the message "Please wait for Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to finish......"  It's been there for six hours and this is the third time I've attempted to run it and all it does is hang.  I am really not happy with Adobe and the money I have to spend on their products.  Overpriced and undersupported.

    As an aside, if you need to create a "cleaner" tool for people to use because the original tool doesn't work, that might be a clue as to its overall usefulness.  Just saying.

      I contacted Adobe support (please see original post).  They were useless.  They sent me to the CC Cleaner Tool which does not work after telling me that I should enjoy my free Creative Cloud membership.  I neither asked for nor want Creative Cloud.

        Jbuck2010 are you in a managed network?  You can find the process for installing and uninstalling the Creative Cloud applications at Install and update apps - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html. 

        The only way which the applications could appear without your intervention would be if they were deployed.  This would indicate that you are on a managed network and could explain several of the difficulties which you have been experiencing.
