Question

Cannot update Creative Cloud Desktop, Error Code:204, stating it cannot access critcal files needed during download?? Any Suggestions? Tried downloading the installer directly form Adobes website with the same result.

    Yes, apparently it had something to do with corrupt permissions on my Mac? I worked with an Adobe tech remotely and they were able to fix it.

    Same problem here with the latest update to Creative Cloud Desktop. I'm suddenly starting to see the problem with software by subscription and constant updates as I have now lost an entire day trying to fix this problem.

    you can check your install logs for errors, Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6, CC
