Cannot update InDesign CS6 on Mac OS X 10.11

When using Adobe Update Manager on Mac OS X 10.11, three CS6 packages, including InDesign, Audition and SpeedGrade, the update fails and displays:

    Update Failed

   The download appears corrupted. Please try to download again. (U43M1D207)

All of the other CS6 updates installed correctly, but these three will not. I installed Java 8 Update 51 in the hope that it would fix it, but it did not appear to help. Any ideas?

Did you try to manually download and install the updates?

All updates start here and select product, read to see if you need to install updates in number order, or if the updates are cumulative for the individual product http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/

John, following your lead, I manually downloaded InDesign 8.0.2 from Adobe - InDesign : For Macintosh : Adobe InDesign CS6 8.0.2 update - All Languages, and it installed with no errors, but when I launch the app it crashes as before. Although I cannot verify it, I suspect that this is the same version that came with the Master Collection bundle.

Ned, thanks for pointing me to the log files. Here is what I get (cleaned up for readability) when I try to update just InDesign from the update manager:
