I have a 4 yr old mid spec (at the time) gaming pc and i cant run any version of photoshop or lightroom due to inadiquate specs, when this cant be right because i know of a lot worse computers that can run photoshop, i have checked my gpu driver for updates and updated the windows system. Here are the specs and what not:

Processor AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Eight-Core Processor 3.70 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Edition Windows 11 Pro for Workstations
Version 23H2
Installed on ‎30/‎11/‎2022
OS build 22631.4169
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22700.1034.0

Any suggestions would be really helpful as I have a school project due in a couple of days!

Based on the specs you provided the only thing missing is the GPU. That particular Ryzen 7 2700x does not have an integrated GPU. What are you using for the GPU and does it meet the minimum requirements?

Also with creative cloud you can install the previous version. Can you see if that works to go one version back? https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/using/install-previous-version.html
