"Captcha validation has failed" and Creative Cloud Desktop white screen

When I attempt to sign in to my Photoshop, I'm met with a message that says "Captcha validation has failed". Also, when I attempt to open my Creative Cloud Desktop app, it just simply shows me a white screen. I've attempted to uninstall the Creative Cloud Desktop app but it doesn't allow me to if I have other applications that require it, so I tried to uninstall my other Adobe apps but it takes me to the Creative Cloud Desktop app which of course gives me the white screen. How should I proceed to fix this issue? Thank you.

Correct answer kglad

first, update your win 7 (64bit only), win 10, mac 10.12+ and retry.

if you don't have one of those os'es you won't be able to circumvent problem but you should contact support to make sure: using a browser that allows popups and cookies, contact adobe support during pst business hours by clicking here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html

click contact us (in the lower right)
in the chat field, type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human

if you have an updated qualifying os:

https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-app-doesnt-open.html

if that fails to help:

close your cc desktop app.

then, rename the opm.db file by: navigate to the OOBE folder

Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE

Mac OS: /User/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE

and rename the opm.db file to opm_old.db, eg

finally, launch your cc desktop app.

if that fails: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/blank-white-screen-ccp.html
