Captivate 9, no activation

I have payed the license but have not got a license number so I can't use Captivate. I need help.

    Hi HeleneJ,

    Apologies for the inconvenience caused, i have moved this discussion back to Downloading, Installing, Setting Up​ forum.

    As you have purchased a subscription you'll not need a serial number to activate your product instead you will need your Adobe ID(email address used for purchasing the subscription) to activate it.

    For activation related issues i would recommend your to review Learn to activate or deactivate Adobe applications 

    If you are getting any specific error messages kinldy take a screen shot of it and attach it here. See,FAQ: How do I capture and post a screen shot or video?

    Just in case this is due to some connection error preventing activation, also see Advanced solutions to connection errors with Adobe Creative Cloud and Creative Suite applications

    you need to select 'try' option instead of 'install' at the begging of the installation.

    I was promised help last night and I already check the pages you got on Captivate. A friend that also uses the software said that he had the same problem but took away the software and installed it again. I have done the same but it is not working.

    Bani moved your question to a Captivate forum instead of answering as a Staff person (no idea why he didn't want to do that). I am just a user, but wonder if you did pay for a perpetual license or for a subscription license?

    If it is a subscription license: just install the trial version, when you log in with your Adobe ID it will be recognized. Your license will be validated.

    If it is a perpetual license, you'll need a serial number. But contrary to the CC applications, the trial version for Captivate is still for 30 days (CC:7 days). Be careful: what you publish with a trial version will expire after 30 days as well. Once you get the registration number, you'll have to republish.

    I have bought the Captivate 9 Subscription Edition and still can not get it to work. What should I do?

    I wonder why Bani Verma mowed my question? I need to use the program and it is referring to a licence numer. I already paid the software but I did not get any licens number.
