cc alongside cs6 perpetual

Hi

I'm hoping someone can give me some clarity around this from firsthand experience.

I have a perpetual licence of boxed CS6 Design Standard running on my Mac at home. At my work we run up-to-date Creative Cloud.

I have been asked to get up to speed with Animate CC in my own time so I want to install Creative Cloud on my Mac at home to be able to do that (allowable under the two computer rule). I only want to install it for whatever period of time I need to learn it, then I want to be able to uninstall Creative Cloud from my home Mac.

What I am concerned about is whether installing Creative Cloud on my home Mac could potentially mess up my perpetual CS6 install - I can't afford for that to happen as I rely on CS6 for working at home.

Does anybody know whether the two get along. or if there is an official Adobe line on doing this?

Thanks

Steve

Thanks John.

It's pretty clear after reading that I shouldn't even think about installing it if I don't want to break my CS6.

It sounds like I could probably fix CS6 by reinstalling after uninstalling Creative Cloud again, but I'm not going to take the risk. I rely too much on CS6 working every day to chance it getting broken like that.

I may look at bringing an old Mac out of retirement and trying to install on that.

Appreciate the help.
