Correct answer kglad

first, close your cc desktop app.

then, rename the opm.db file by:

    navigate to the OOBE folder.

        Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE

        Mac OS: /User/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder

and rename the opm.db file to opm_old.db, eg

finally, launch your cc desktop app.

if that fails: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/blank-white-screen-ccp.html

Hi, Thanks that worked for me.

I had to force quit all cc app instances in the activity monitor, then launch the app from my applications folder.

The pop up window prompted me to login again and then proceeded to download and install an update.

It's worth pointing out that at that stage the menu icon and floating window disappeared and didn't come back up so I had to relaunch the app from the application icon again in my applications folder.

The app relaunched and showed me the working floating window.

Seems all fine now.
