CC Application in Windows 10 is Broken

Hi I hope someone can help me. A week or so ago my CC Application seems to have broken somehow and keeps wanting me to repair it but when I do that fails too as it gets to about 2% and stops. I have tried uninstalling it but that can't be done as I have my apps installed and they can't be uninstalled because of the main app is broken. Lightroom etc still function fine but I think there has been a  recent update to it that it has told me about but it can't download that too. I have looked at the FAQ with the error code but I am not sure that any of the suggestions will make any difference.

I am happy to report that my issue has been resolved by buying a new SSD and reinstalling windows. It may not have been the ideal solution but it does mean at least I have doubled my storage on my SSD and maybe gained a bit of speed too so not all bad but it would have been nice to not have this happen in the first place.

The CC App is only a front end to facilitate some operations. You can uninstall any program using the standard OS supported methods.

You can also uninstall the CC App using that method. After uninstalling, use the Adobe CC Cleaner program to clean-up the installation leftovers.

You haven't said what the error code is that you get.

Yeah sorry about the lack of error code. When I was typing it I was at a different computer and didn't exactly remember what it was.

I am not on that computer and the cod is 201.

I have tried using normal windows uninstal and nothing happens apart from some windows asking permission to run the uninstaller.

BrainBeat, sorry you are facing Error 201 when attempting to install the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application and Lightroom CC.  Error 201 occurs when the download is paused due to poor server response.  You can find steps on how to resolve network errors at Troubleshoot Adobe Creative Cloud download and install issues .
