CC apps take forever to open

I just sat here waiting nearly 5 minutes for Photoshop to open. Illustrator, Muse... they all take an eternity to open and run dog-ass slow. I recently upgraded to mac OS Mojave which seemed to have made these apps take even longer to open than with High Sierra. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling, disk repair, malware scan.... nothing seems to make any difference. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
