CC Desktop Download error: FATAL: Fatal Error '123' occurred while download
I have this same problem on my Macbook Pro EVERYTIME there is an update.
I can update on my older tower just fine.
In the past, direct download links have been the only thing that worked successfully.

Those are no longer available.
I have cleared my cache (Chrome), I have deleted the OOBE and AAMUpdater folders - no improvements. .
I have tried changing my DNS servers to the adobe servers - no improvements.

I will not be updating to El Capitan at this time.
How can I get my downloads to work properly (i.e. Creative Cloud Desktop app)?
What do I need to do to keep this from happening ALL THE TIME?
This is very frustrating.
There seems to be a BIG problem.
I am on a Mac. 10.10.5.
Creative Cloud app version 3.7.0.272
Specifically, I'm trying to update/download Audition 2015.2, Media Encoder 2015.3.
