CC is not recognizing the new 2018 updates

I was very excited to get the email that new CC was updating to the new 2018 release. When I went to update my apps, only Dream Weaver actually updated to the new 2018 version. Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign stayed as the 2017 version even though it said there was an update and I clicked to update all apps. I have tried uninstalling the old versions and reinstalling but it still only updated to the 2017 versions. When I go to check for new updates available it says that all apps are updated and no new updates available .  Is anyone else having this issue? How do I get CC to recognize that there are new updates for Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign to the new 2018 version??

Answer to this issue has been solved correct answer being:

1. go to C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Adobe\Adobe Creative Cloud\ACC  and then right click on the Creative Cloud.exe file,

go into the compatibility tab and uncheck the run this program in compatibility mode box.

2. Then do the same to the Setup.exe file in C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Creative Cloud\HDCore

3. And then restart the computer.

UPDATE: I was able to get in contact with Adobe Support and one of their techs was able to put the new 2018 apps onto my computer. But those apps are not connected to the CC app and I am not able to receive any of the new updates or support for the 2018 apps as it still says my apps are all up to date with the 2017 versions. Not sure if this is an issue anyone else is having.

1. update your os

2. sign out and then back in to your cc desktop app, http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/sign-in-out-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

3.  click the upper right dots>click "check for apps updates".

Thank you for your response, however none of those option have worked thus far.

1. This is not an option, my coworker has the same OS and she was able to get the updates so my OS should not be an issue

2. I have tried this and it still does not recognize the new updates

3. that is where I have been going to check and it tells me everything is up to date no new updates available.
