CC updates will slow down system and crashes my computer

I have been trying to upgrade, reinstall cc on my system for over a week. Countless hours on remote

session. no fixes have worked and they have tried it all. I am a freelance designer. I need this resolved. 
Anyone else having issues with Creative Cloud not updating, then when it finally does it needs to be repaired, then after that it won't then download any of the programs without crashing. Then it asks for an install again. I have tried about 10 different fixes. Love to hear if there is one I haven't tried. It updates fine on my laptop, just issues with my desktop.
