CC will not take my password, how to install, more to the story?

I have a free LR from the purchase of a Leica DLUX 109. I finally got the download and my codes from Leica. When I try to install CC asks for a password and does not give my proper user name, they use my name when it should be my email. In any event, trying it both ways with my password it will not take m y information and let me proceed. Adobe is very difficult to contact and all I want to do is install LR6 and them reinstall my NIK with I have had issues with. Any thoughts?

    Could that be your COMPUTER asking for your COMPUTER password to prove that you have permission to make changes?

    That worked but now it will only let me select CC when all I want is regular LR6. I have no desire to be on a monthly with them. Adobe is not making a friend right here
