CC will not update any of my apps? And when does, reaches 50% and says "it is taking longer than expected" it's been happening for 4days.

All sorted. I had to get Adobe to clean it up and remote access etc. Thank you everyone

All suggestions still did not work. It did however two apps successfully. Which at that point I had hope. But then it went onto updating another app. Again, got to 45-50% and stopped.

Is your internet connection fast & stable? 

Do you have administrative level permissions to install software?

Are you behind a corporate firewall?

If so, you may need to contact your IT dept. for assistance.

first try, resetting the cc app:

To reset the Creative Cloud desktop app, make sure it's in the foreground, then press: Win: Ctrl + Alt + R Mac: Cmd + Opt + R
