I had CC installed but it wouldn't update, so I removed it and am trying to reinstall.  I get an error when trying to install it.  Error code: 50.  I'm on Windows 7.  I've followed the instructions for deleting the appdata files too.

Yes, I followed all that.  I ended up finding someone's blog about CC updates on Windows OS.  He ran into the same issues and non of the posted solutions worked.  He has 5 machines in his office with the issue.  What worked was booting Windows into Safe Mode with Networking and doing the CC install and/or updates through safe mode.  I tried this and worked perfectly.  Once the install and updates were done, I was able to reboot as normally and CC is now working.

Jessica2015 have you utilized the steps listed in Error "Failed to Install" Creative Cloud Desktop application to reinstall the Creative Cloud Desktop application?
