Hi Mnormandeau,

Please follow the below steps:

  • Run Adobe Cleaner tool > If present Select the option "Adobe Application Manager for Mac OS X 10.6" and then click on "Clean up Selected" . Use the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems
  • Restart your machine
  • Please check if you have any browser security extensions installed, please disable them. ( Eg: AD BLOCK, Mcafee site/web adviser, internet security toolbar etc)
  • Also disable the Firewall of your machine see, OS X: About the application firewall - Apple Support

  • Disable Firewall of the Internet security program installed on computer. ( (Norton 360 - disable the following in it : Browser protection, safe surfing, firewall, download intelligence)

  • If you have a Mac machine then kindly : Go to : Apple Icon > System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General > " Allow apps downloaded from " change this to ANYWHERE ( To make these changes click on the Padlock in the left bottom corner of this window and enter your computer password )

  • Then Download Adobe Creative Cloud apps | Free Adobe Creative Cloud trial

Let us know if this helps.

I have the same issue.  I previously had CC working but recently I started my Windows 7 PC and the desktop shortcut and taskbar shortcuts were broken - not linked to anything. I therefore downloaded the application again but when I tell it to run I get a request to confirm that I want it to run (possibly from my Kaspersky anti virus or Windows) and then nothing happens.  I get no error message or anything.  Help very much appreciated
