Windows 7

TCS 4

Can I just uninstall this?

Will it screw up TCS 4?

It's crashing every 30 seconds. Faulting module name: ntdll.dll. Exception code: 0xc0000374

I just find the solution!

You just have to RENAME the CEPServicemanager4 folder to CEP

SOLpubs when you refer to TCS are you referring to the Technical Communicator Suite?

Thanks for the reply.

Yes.

After a Windows update, I was prompted to update Creative Cloud. After I did that, it repeatedly attempted to start, then crashed. Could not get the start/crash cycle to stop, even with a machine restart. With Windows Error Reporting Service running, it was consuming nearly all resources.

So I:

- reverted to a restore point before Windows Update

- uninstalled TCS 4 and Creative Cloud

- ran Windows update

- installed TCS 4 without Creative Cloud

Thing seem to work, so far.

I don't think Creative Cloud is necessary for TCS 4, but want to verify that.

You are correct the Creative Cloud is a separate product offering from the Technical Communicator Suite.  They do use similar licensing and installation technology.  I am not aware of any specific conflicts.

You may want to also inquire or search in the Technical Communicator Suite Installer forum at http://forums.adobe.com/community/framemaker/techcom_suite_installer.
