I downloaded the trial version, (2 days left) of Adobe lightroom classic cc. I live in Japan. I am using 54bit windows 10. Lightroom Classic is in Japanese, but I need it in English before I buy the license. I have tried all the suggestions. I can't even find the edit preferences mentioned to access the drop down tab to change language. I am truly a beginner. Thank you for any suggestions you can give me.

I appreciate your trying to help, but nothing seems to work. I decided to

uninstall Adobe Cloud and Lightroom CC. Let me know if you ever have

Lightroom Classic CC that installs in English, no matter what country you

live in. I wanted so much to use it with LRTimelapse.

Lightroom has its own language settings that work independently of the language setting in the CC desktop app.

Reinstall Lightroom, and if it's still in Japanese, press Ctrl + comma, which will open the preferences.

The language setting is at the top of the first tab.

Choose English, then click Restart Lightroom.

Thanks for your suggestion. I have tried that. Found preferences there. I tried English(North America), and English(International). I restarted the computer, but languages is still in Japanese in  Classic CC.

you have to change to your preferred language.

uninstall all apps with incorrect languages.

then install your apps with your preferred language.
