Creative Cloud just updated all of my apps even though I had auto-update turned off. When I checked preferences it was turned back on.
One reason I don't have auto-update is because I can't use the latest version of PS owning to the limited memory of my video card. I had to manually uninstall it.
Is this Adobe policy to change auto-update settings?

since the first week that adobe went to the subscription model i've had an all apps subscription with keep the cc app up to date enabled and auto update disabled. i've never changed that and no adobe update of the cc app has ever changed that.

i don't know what changed your settings but it's clearly not a policy.
