changed my computer software before deactivating

I upgraded my pc from windows 8 to windows 8.1 All my programs got deleted and I have to install the again. I did not deactivate adobe creative suite before this. I have a student version of adobe creative suite right now and I am wondering if I can install it again on my same conputer without having to use the second computer option for my license.

Can someone help me please?

    you should be ok.

    in any case, you will be prompted to signout from all installations if you try to install/sign in to a 3rd computer so you don't have to worry about losing an installation.
