Changing file destination

I feel like an idiot writing this, but I cant get my hands on this. My C drive is currently full so I tried changing the destination folder to my external D drive. It has the D drive checked in on my folder destination, but when I try downloading the Premiere Pro CC trial the files wont install because of my C drive being all filled up. In other words, the files still wants to install on my C drive. Any quick help?@

Before install ,the apps need to be downloaded and these downloads will be done on your temp folder and no way to change this .

You can download yourself with direct links but you still need space for caches and for the apps to run correctly.

Here are the direct links :

Download Creative Cloud apps

It's time for a new computer.  Or, move all non-essential files to externals and uninstall software that you don't use regularly.

at least for a new harddisk. As you are saying C and D it’s a Windows PC, but you did not mention the flavour nor the space (overall and free) on C. Itks quite difficult to give good advice with not enough info.

Sorry, was in quite a rush. My C drive has 3 empty of 100 GB, D drive 600 GB of 2 TB.

You need space on C to install software - lots of space - even if you install the app somewhere else. You absolutely need to free space on C.
