Changing platforms - Windows to Mac

How to I go about moving my PS Elements and Premier Elements to my new iMac? Both are currently installed only on my PC. When I try to download from my account list of products on the iMac it won't, apparently because it is a Windows license? Online chat said -- can't be done, buy a new product. Is that correct?

When your buy the DVD (such as from Amazon) you get both versions in the box

When you buy the download you get ONE version
