Check if my serial number is valid?

This may sound a bit extravagent but I have some Creative Suite software purchased but I never actually used it - the project it was purchased for changed and it wasnt required.  Ive just found the pack.

Im going to list it somewhere to see if someone else can make use of it but I need to check that the serial number on the label is still valid - I am sure I did not ever register it but dont want to sell this expensive software to someone and then have trouble with them activating.  Ive logged on to my adobe account and its not there but I might have used a different email address - eek.

I have a pack/serial number for Adobe CReative Suite 5.5 Design Premium (Mac)

+ I have a pack/serail number for Adobe Creative suite 6 Design Standard UPGRADE  (Mac) - 

I think I might have purchased the wrong products anyway way back then as the upgrade says Standard and the full product is Premium - but too late now.

Will I need to contact Adobe to check and if so then will they be able to tell me if registererd?
