I am using a mac and I tried downloading the Illustrator Trail but at the end of the download it says the following disk images could not be opened... Reason - invalid checksum... I downloaded the rail from the official adobe website. How can I fix this? Is is something wrong with my mac cause I've downloaded illustrator on a pc before and it worked. Help. Thank you in advance.

I have the same problem and have carried out the download of Premier 3 times on Mac OS 10.7 .4 with no improvement. Using the same broadband connection I have downloaded and installed on Windows 7 no problem. I use the same broadband as millions of other people on the UK and have no problem with any downloads from any other online provider. Looks like I won't be buying Adobe for my Mac, so not any point in buying for the Windows machines either unless Adobe can help with this problem, would be appreciated, we're not exactly shopping on the bargain basement here - thanks

Door White this error often occurs when the Adobe Download Assistant is displaying the message Extracting files.  Did the Adobe Download Assistant indicate that it had completed the download?

Copying a solution from this thread: What does invalid checksum mean?

"It would appear that your download got corrupted.  I would recommend deleting the file you downloaded and try downloading again.  If you continue to run into this difficulty you may want to try utilizing a different Internet service provider to download the file."
