Hi. I saw some posts saying that some Adobe apps function cant be used with the new OS.

May I know if
1. Premiere Pro
2. Illustrator
3. Photoshop
4. Media Encoder
5. Adobe XD

are affected?

I haven't update my OS yet , I'm afraid it will affect the apps.

Catalina kills all apps that are not 64-bit.  Many helper apps and plugins are still 32-bit.   File saving issues have been reported in some products like Photoshop.  Also it's highly recommended that you uninstall all 32-bit apps BEFORE you upgrade to Catalina.   See this help article for more.

What can I do if I already upgraded to Catalina?  File saving is exactly what I am having a problem with.

In which app  are you unable to save files?

Always wait a couple of months for a new OS. Let others feel the pain. There is ALWAYS pain and problems, as Adobe and Apple work to get around the new nightmares.

    Thanks for the advise

    Hi

I'd hold off on updating to Catalina for the moment, the next release of Adobe apps are currently been tested to run on that OS, it's always a good idea to wait before updating to a new OS be it Windows or Mac until the bugs have been ironed out

Better to be safe than sorry 😉
