complimentary upgrade

Will Adobe honor the upgrade since the product was purchased in 2013?  I purchased LR 4 April 2013, LR 5 was released June 2013.  LR 4 does not support RAW conversion for my new Nikon D750 but LR 5 does.  Until I upgraded my camera, I've not had a problem.

think that since the people I've been dealing with don't seem to know the difference between their head and a hole in the wall, I am going to download and use the Nikon image processing software.  Will probably work better than LR anyway.

NitaHastings I am sorry for the confusion you have faced.  As Kglad has indicated upgrade promotions similar to the one you referenced are time limited.  The purpose is to allow those who purchase a version of the software, near the release, of a new version are allowed to upgrade at no charge.  It is necessary for an individual to contact us though to redeem the offer.

Lightroom 6 is currently available at Digital photography software | Download free Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC trial.  Have you inquired with our support team to see if you qualify for upgrade pricing NitaHastings?

there was probably a time-limit to exercise that uprade, but you could try.

I did a chat session with support and they sent me here for what ever reason... didn't really understand that.  I hope they will because otherwise I'm screwed into having to spend an extra $150 to get and updated version and I had no idea that the upgrade was even an option until last night.

what were you supposed to do in 2013 to access your complimentary upgrade?
