Computer change
I recently signed up for Adobe cloud and chose PS6. I'm about to upgrade my computer. Should I wait until I switch out computers to download the application?

No need. You can activate the software on up to 2 computers.
You can download and install on both the old computer and the new one when it arrives.
If you later decide to uninstall from the old computer, you first deactivate the software via Help > Deactivate then uninstall.
