computer crashed with Dreamweaver 5.5 activated

My friend's notebook computer, operating system Vista Home edition, has crashed big time. The recovery disk has failed to sort it, so it looks like a reformat job. I can access the hard drive via the dos prompt.

There is an activated copy of Dreamweaver 5.5 on the hard drive, what can I do about deactivating it?

Thank you
