Configuration error when installing..

Downloaded test versions, and when launching InDesign it says configuration error. Uninstall and install again. Error number: 5. Uninstalled and did it all over, same problem again. Other test versions works ei PhotoShop.

    Hi NoraO,

    Adding to what Jeff said, if you are on a windows can you please try the following two steps :

    1) Right click and run the product as an admin and check if its working as desired or not.

    2) Please check permissions on Adobe folder : C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\SLCache & C:\ProgramData\Adobe\SLStore .

    NoraO I would recommend reviewing your installation logs for the specific failure preventing you from installing InDesign successfully.  What version of InDesign exactly are you trying to install?  Also which operating system are you using?

    Sorry for being stupid but how do i review my installation log?
    Im trying to install Adobe Indesign CC 2014.
    And I'm on a mac.
