Confusion with multiple Photoshop and Lightroom versions

I have Photoshop CC and Photoshop CC (2017) on my Creative Cloud app. I also have Lightroom, Lightroom Classic CC and Lightroom 5.7 installed on my computer. How do I make sense out of this mess? I have an active CC subscription, so which ones can I remove?

in most situations you can uninstall all but the most recent versions.  previous versions are only needed for legacy plugins and hardware that are incompatible with newer versions.

secure your lr 5.7 serial number before uninstalling so you can reinstall and activate it later if you terminate your cc subscription.

Which one is newer, Photoshop CC or Photoshop CC (2017)? Lightroom or Lightroom Classic CC?
