And as others mention, testing in a newly created local administrative user account is also a good test

I have had nothing but trouble since we started using Creative Cloud.

I have found that we have to add the sites listed in this link to our web filter. And months later, when the downloads fail again, I find there's more sites that have been added to allow. Since last spring, I have updated our web filter 3 times.

I too had nothing but trouble with CC 2015.  I updated my MacServer to the new server and system software, and I could not update CC or the programs.  I did as suggested and uninstalled CC and the programs and renamed the OOBE files.  No luck.  Every time the install stopped at 13%.

Adobe suggested that I take it apart and move it to another network.  No one suggested using the ProTools site.  The great news is that the ProTools site (Adobe CC 2015 Direct Download Links: Creative Cloud 2015 Release | ProDesignTools) worked like a gem.  The only program that I had to download was the CC downloader.  It is important to read the instructions on the site, otherwise you will not be able to download it.  Once CC was installed both Lightroom and Photoshop reinstalled without a problem.  At last!  I spent days on trying to get the program to download.  I don't understand why Adobe makes this so hard!

    Hi Liryal ,

    Welcome to Adobe Forums.

Error Code 205 indicates the downloaded file was corrupted.  Please try an alternate Internet browser and disable anti-virus and turn-off firewall during download.
