Creative Cloud App manager problems

Hello.

The Creative Cloud Application manager cannot update 2 programs. Adobe Creative Cloud Connection and DPS Desktop Tools CS6. Each time the updates begin the App manager states that I have to close the manager in order to complete the installation. Is there a seperate download? Do I have to uninstall the App manger? Help. Thank you in advance!

I also have Windows7. I've tried all of the options and nothing has worked for me yet. I'll keep searching for a solution and if found I will make sure to post it. Please do the same. Thank you.

Here's what I did. In Creative Cloud Connection, I turned off SYNC.  I turned off LAUNCH AT LOGIN.  I signed out.  THEN I shut down, turned it back on and went straight to my Adobe Applications Manager to grab the updates.  That worked.  I rebooted again, signed in and turned on SYNC and LAUNCH AT LOGIN.  Whew!

I was having the same problem. I then turned off my computer and rebooted. I made sure my Cretive Cloud connection was off. I was able to then open the Application manager and update those two apps. and it worked. Just thought I'd share!

Thanks, but this didn't work for me. I signed out of Creative Cloud and had my Sync off (I have no other 'OFF' option) before shutting down my computer altogether.  When I went to sign back in, I noticed my Sync was back on.

Is there something I'm missing?
