Creative cloud app not recognising existing installed Adobe app - Acrobat XI Pro

How do I fix the following?

My Apple has CS6 apps (PS, Illustrator and InDesign) and Acrobat XI Pro installed. I then downloaded Creative Cloud (CC). CC found the CS6 apps but not my Acrobat XI Pro. How do I make CC find Acrobat in order to add it to my listed apps plus enable CC to manage my Acrobat updates?

Drchrismason the CC Desktop application will never manage the updates for Acrobat XI Professional.  The updater technology utilized by Acrobat 11 Professional is not compatible.

If you wish to ensure the installation of Acrobat XI Pro is utilizing your Creative Cloud membership licensing then please remove your current installation of Acrobat XI Professional.  Once it is removed you can then reinstalling through the Creative Cloud Desktop application.  For more information please see Install and update apps - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html.
