Creative Cloud App unable to install software

Hi,

My Creative Cloud App hasn't been updating for a while, so as a work around I have been starting up each software from my applications folder. To try to fix this problem I have uninstalled all adobe software using the cleaning tool, deleted the OOBE file from application support file and re-loaded a fresh copy of the Creative Cloud App. Restarted my Mac.

On a re-booted Mac the C.C.app window pops up showing all the software ready to install, BUT when i click on install on any of the software blue install buttons nothing happens.

So although I have a Creative Cloud App pop up window the buttons aren't responsive so I cant download each software (Illustrator, InDesignetc)

I am running High Sierra version 10.13.6 on an iMac late 2013

i'm at a loss to what to try next, can anyone help??

confirm that you can connect to the secure adobe servers by reading, http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html

do you see both logos?

if you can and still see a connection error, white list the adobe network endpoints, https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/network-endpoints.html
