Creative Cloud app vanishes when installed

Hi,

I recently attempted to download the Creative Cloud app for my MacBook Pro 2021. Everything seems to be going fine, but when the installation reaches 100%, the program crashes abruptly, and nothing ends up being installed. This issue has persisted for several days now.

I've already tried downloading the installer using Chrome instead of Safari, updating my software, and restarting my computer. However, I haven't been able to identify the root cause of the problem. Any advice or suggestions regarding the issue and its resolution would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Correct answer kglad

assuming nothing cc is installed:

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

check for, and if available, update your os

restart your computer (don't skip this)

reinstall the cc desktop app using the "alternative download links" at the bottom of the page at https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html

use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials

NOTE: win 11 users that have trouble with the latest win 10 installer often have success with the older win 10 installer.

Rosska, sorry you cannot use your Adobe applications on your new MacBook Pro. Did you transfer any applications or files to the computer? Please see https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/apple-silicon-m1-chip.html for essential instructions for migrating successfully to a computer using Apple's Silicon processors.

The suggestions offered by Kglad should help correct any files transferred to the computer and causing the current failures. We look forward to your update on this public discussion.
