Creative cloud app 'Waiting'

The Creative cloud app (v5.6.5.58) ends up 'Wainting..' when I Update, Remove or Install any of the apps. Does anyone know what to do?
I am on macOS 12.1 with Apple silicon. Thx!

In the end it started working again after a restart of the system.

it should take less than 1 minute to reset and then less than 5 minutes to decide if the cc app is working correctly, or not.

reset the cc desktop app: make sure it's in the foreground, then press:

Win: Ctrl + Alt + R
Mac: Cmd + Opt + R

Thanks for this suggestion. I don't know what you mean by "reset the cc desktop app". Can you give step by step instructions, please?

to reset the cc desktop app: make sure it's in the foreground, then press:

Win: Ctrl + Alt + R
Mac: Cmd + Opt + R
