Creative cloud apps crash on launch after update

I just updated to the newest version of CC which uninstalled all my previous versions of PS, Bridge, inDesign, and Illustrator. The new versions constantly crash at launch, or take 5-10 minutes to launch. I have to leave the apps running and not shut my computer off just to avoid this issue. I did uninstall all versions and reinstall the new apps without success. I run OS Maverick on a mid 2011 MAC with 16GB RAM. Next step anyone?

Did not help. None of the suggestions worked, and that information was posted 4 years ago.
