Creative Cloud Crashes Windows 10 Start Button

I've been trying to diagnose my computer since the start button would become inoperable randomly while I was working, forcing me to reboot the computer.

Several re-installs of Windows later, having it work only to suddenly stop. I finally determined that as soon as the Creative Cloud application is launched on my computer, the start button becomes inoperable, any open applications freeze and eventually I have to Ctrl+Alt+Delete to restart.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Samsung m.2 SSD

Intel Core i7-6700 HQ @2.60GHz

Windows 10 1903

I see you have the 1903 Windows update.  Do you have a lot of Typekit/Adobe fonts to synchronize?   See related discussion below.

Hi Adam,

Not exactly same but yes similar problem had been experienced by me in past. After some research and testing, I found root cause was related to some common drivers of hardware being utilized by Adobe and System quite frequently.

Here is what I did and would suggest :

1. Remove external Graphic Card, printers or any hardware other than mouse, keyboard etc.

2. Remove the drivers from control panel

3. Reboot the machine and check.

There is one more thing you can try without trying step 1,2 and 3 which is to boot your system in safe mode with networking. IF that makes it work then you will have to go through 1,2 and 3 steps but if not and issue still persists in safe mode, there is least possibility that step 1,2, and 3 would be of help.

I hope it resolves your concern.
