I don't even get to the crash bit... when I start it, Creative Cloud appears in the Task Manager as a running process....then disappears! No error, no nothing.

And no Creative Cloud.

Program Comparability tried running it in XP sp2 mode... same thing, nothing.

CC used to run before just fine. When it used to run, I was always annoyed by it not running until it updated to the latest version (No Option!), and here we are, the latest version does not open at all. That's some update!

Follow up from my last post: So, I immediately used the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to remove the Cloud Desktop from my machine... it sure did the trick.

Then I re-downloaded the CC desktop... well, not quite past-tense, it is still downloading, it's been hours and not near halfway done, I imagined it would be a simple, quick operation. I know, I know...

How about just a direct link to the program itself instead of through a downloader?

So, while this is downloading, I am trying to get some work done, and wouldn't you know it? Dreamweaver CC and DWCC 2014 now crash as they try to start, when 'Initializing Files'.

So, my experience with Adobe today has been less than helpful or useful, I have a deadline and now must use the free Notepad++ program to compose web pages with.

How much is the company I work for paying for me to be a lab rat for Adobe to test their unreliable products on, again?

Hey, look! Now nearly halfway there:

Mine keeps crashing too. Seems to be having issues with loading fonts from Type Kit. VERY annoying as it's stopping me from completeing this job.. grr!

Same issue here on OS X 10.10.5 - iMac Late 2013 - 3.2 GHz Intel Core i5

All day today creative cloud is just quitting without any notification, I keep having to relaunch and sign-in again.

It seems to be only staying 'open' for less than 5 minutes at a time, sometimes it’s quitting as soon as I sign-in.

Until today I haven’t really had any issues with it doing this.

Also noticed today that sometimes when I reopen CC and sign-in it says 'No Internet Connection' although I am connected just fine. It’ll still sync my fonts in the background and notify me, but it gets stuck on 'No Internet Connection' no matter how many times I refresh.

I’ve uninstalled the CC app and reinstalled it and all appears to be working now.

how do you uninstall the CC app without wiping the rest of the adobe applications as well? I don't have the time to redownload 50 GB of apps right now...

guess I'll be using non-typekit fonts for everything until adobe reads their crash log reports

If possible, switch from wireless -> wired internet connection, or the other way around, this worked for me

This crashed on me today as well. Windows 8.1. Uninstalled Creative Cloud and it errors when trying to install again. Renamed sniffer.exe and didn't work.

One thing it told me when trying to update the Adobe Application Manager was I needed to download the Adobe Support Adviser. Guess what? It is no longer available!!!

The Adobe Support Advisor has been discontinued

This is a massive fail. All of my applications are useless right now and I NEED them.

Still on hold, but I found this answer:

Navigate to

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2014

Locate sniffer.exe

and rename it ~sniffer.exe

I tried it, and it worked! So far so good.

It is happening with me as well... Windows 8 64-bit... I tried chatting with support but it says they are 'closed' even though they are supposed to be available until 7:00 pm PT (it is only 5:30pm PT). Been on hold with them for 15 minutes now. I am assuming it is going to be a long wait! I will update when I get someone on the line.

Hi mohammedshah1122334466,

Does uninstalling and reinstalling the Creative Cloud app help?

You should be able to uninstall from the standard location at Control Panel > Programs & Features and then reinstall from the Download Center at https://creative.adobe.com/products
