Creative Cloud Desktop App

I have downloaded the Creative Cloud desktop app as instructed. When I open the desktop app to begin downloading software it tells me there is no internet connection which clearly there is as I just downloaded it from the internet and I'm posting this online currently!

What can I do as I desperatly need to get my software downloaded so I can work.
