Creative Cloud Desktop App Crashes after excessive memory usage (Windows 10)

- After starting CC Desktop App it starts using more and more memory and crashes/restarts then

- Update and logout are greyed out in the app

- reinstalling CC (cleanup/oobe-hints didn't help) with no effect

what can i do? can't do updates for lightroom/photoshop, and direct download-links aren't provided any longer so i do need the cc-desktop-app now for that...

    uninstall everything cc including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

    then uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

    clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

    restart your computer (don't skip this)

    reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.

    if you're unable to install the cc desktop app at this stage, use an administrator account (solution 3 here, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-missing-damaged.html)

    use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials

    same after that procedure. starting the cc desktop app results in consumation of memory and restart of cc desktop on and on...

    can't even re-install lightroom and photoshop, because they aren't ready until cc-desktop crashes again.
