Creative Cloud desktop app disappears, can't download anything

I downloaded the creative cloud installer and when I double click on it, the icon shows up and the drop down menu pinwheels for a few seconds and then they both disappear. Because of this, I am unable to download any of the programs.

Tried the relative solutions through the link,

unfortunatly it still is not working, going to try phone support on the morning.

is creative cloud desktop installed and you're having trouble running it?

if so, right click the shortcut and click 'run as administrator'.

Yes CC Desktop is installed and can sign in when I go to website, but CC Icon is not present on the top browser bar, I am running on a Mac machine, "run as admin" is not an option on the shortcut drop down

is the cc icon on your desktop?
