Creative Cloud desktop failed to update.(error code: 1001)

Hi, I went to try and update my creative cloud and an error code:1001 appeared. How can I fix this?

Please refer to the following link : "Failed to install" error received when installing Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app

If this doesn't help please uninstall the Creative Cloud desktop app using the uninstaller :  Uninstall the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application

Install and Download Adobe Creative Cloud apps | Free Adobe Creative Cloud trial

After this sign in and check.

This has happened to me but it equally will not let me uninstall the CC downloader tool!

It also won't let me update CC tool to update.

It's a nightmare because I just prior accidentally uninstalled the wrong version of CCIndesign and now I can't redownload it!
