Question

creative cloud desktop installation failed

I was trying to install Creative Cloud desktop and when the installation seemed to have finished this window popped up.

It translates to 'the Adobe Creative Cloud that is needed to solve this problem is lost or damaged. You can click Repair to try fixing the problem. If it didn't work you can download the newest version of Adobe Creative Cloud from this link.'

So obviously there was an issue when I tried to install Creative Cloud desktop that I could not fix without installing and running the Creative Cloud desktop??

What is going on?

I have tried using the cleaner tool. And I tried deleting the file under the OOEB or what not folder and reinstalling Creative Cloud. None of them worked.

Please help. PLEASE.

Hi Shihuix61123671,

Sorry that you are having trouble installing your Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app as it fails with an error.

As you have already tried certain basic steps, please confirm of you have tried all the steps given in the following help document as well: Adobe Creative Cloud, needed to resolve this problem, is missing or damaged ?, if not then please give it a try.

If the above link doesn't help then I would suggest you do a manual cleanup of the Creative Cloud desktop app and reinstall it, see: Photoshop Installation Failed

After this download and install the desktop app from here: Download Creative Cloud desktop app

Let us know if this helps.

Thank you for answering.

I just tried your method but unfortunately, it still did not work. The same window popped up.
