Torsten.

Thank you for posting, @torSTEEN, and thanks to @kglad for helping here.

I understand how frustrating this must be, especially since your subscription is active and you've already completed many of the common troubleshooting steps.

We want to check one additional item. Have you ever installed the Creative Cloud Desktop Bridge on this computer?

If so, please download and run the Creative Cloud Desktop Uninstaller, restart your computer, and then reinstall the latest version of Creative Cloud Desktop:

Using the uninstaller is important because a standard uninstall/reinstall may leave behind components that can continue to cause installation or update issues.

We'd also like to understand the issue better:

    1. Did this computer previously run Creative Cloud applications successfully, or is this a new installation?
    2. Does Error 190 occur during the Creative Cloud Desktop installation/update process, when launching Photoshop, or both?
    3. Are any other Creative Cloud applications affected, or only Photoshop?
    4. Have you recently changed hardware, security software, or Windows user profiles on this system?

While we have seen similar reports from other customers recently, additional details will help us determine whether your situation aligns with those cases.

Please update this discussion with the results and answers to the questions above, and we'll be happy to continue investigating, @torSTEEN.

@kglad - Thank you very much for your prompt response:
All hardware specifications are met: Up-to-date Windows 10 system (22H2, all updates installed, system with Intel 12th Gen processor), up-to-date graphics driver (reinstalled), and the SSD is error-free according to the latest test. Firewall via Bitdefender (disabled for testing purposes).

As recommended, manually installing the latest Creative Cloud Desktop (via download) results in the same error (190).

I'm using Creative Cloud Photography 1 TB (valid through Feb. 28, 2027) with this email address, and the subscription is displayed correctly.

    What can I do?

there’s no known fix.  this has been reported for months.

something will change eventually.  either adobe will fix the problem(s) or change their min specs requirement.
