Creative Cloud Desktop Settings

Could somebody please help me with some issues I have with the Creative Cloud Desktop settings under Win7?

1.  When first opened, it defaults to showing me "Adobe Stock."  How do I make it default to opening up "Apps" so I can check for updates, etc?

2.  After I close and quit the Creative Cloud Desktop, it leaves three memory consuming processes active.  They are:
     a) Adobe Desktop Service.exe
     b) Node.exe (from CCLibrary/libs)
     c) Node.exe (from CCSXProcess/libs)  - Two different processes from two different copies are left running.

My work-around is to manually kill these three processes in Task Manager after quitting Creative Cloud Desktop. Am I missing a setting that will automatically close these processes after quitting the program?

Thanks in advance for any any help.

Hi Joseph,

Please see the screenshot below to set the preferences as per your requirement:

1. Click on the gear icon

2. Select the preferences option and set your preferences.

As far as the processes issue is concerned which you manually end from the task manager, let me find a resolution for you and update the thread.

Regards,

Sheena

Thank you very much.  Yes, I know where the gear icon is, but I cannot find the setting to change the default tab from Adobe Stock to App.  Here is what I see when I open the gear icon:

None of these options seem to provide what I am looking for.

Thanks again.
