Question

Creative Cloud doesn't offer updates?

Just purchased Creative Cloud.  Installed a handful of apps on my Windows 8 PC.  The CC Desktop App claims that all of my (newly installed) products are up to date, but running Photoshop and selecting Help/Updates brings up Adobe Application Manager, which offers a whole slew up updates.  What's that all about?  Who doesn't the CC Desktop app offer the updates to me?  I thought the Desktop app was supposed to my my new and improved, one-stop-shop for app installation AND UPDATES.

SealBeachSoftware have you tried quitting and reopening the Creative Cloud application?  This should force it to check for installed applications and available updates.

Hmmm... I'm pretty sure I rebooted the PC at least once before I decided the the desktop app just wasn't going to offer the updates to me.  Now that I've installed the updates via App Manager, I guess I'll just have to wait until the next update shows up to see what happens.

It also updates itself once every 24 hours.  So if it has been over a day and the Creative Cloud application has been running it will have updated itself.
