Creative Cloud folder disappeared

I had a folder on the creative cloud that I tried to copy over to my desktop. It moved it instead of copying it, so I moved it back on the cloud and held down the option or command or one of the keys while dragging it and it disappeared completely.  I need that folder back with all my work. Why did it disappear and how can I get it back?
