Creative Cloud for multiple computers

I'm fairly positive the new cloud features are only applicable for a paid monthly subscription. Old box product will give you access to the programs and possible hot fixes and updates, but not the 20gb of storage per month that would come with a paid subscription to newer applications.

With that said, yes, with a paid subscription you get a certain allotment of storage space that is automatically synced to the Adobe Cloud and would then sync to your 2nd PC. You would also retain those files on adobe servers, so if something happened to both of your computers all of your files are not lost. Cloud storage is an amazing thing and i HIGHLY advocate for it. At work my PC completely died and I was up and running on a new one in less than an hour. I logged in and all of my files just synced up to the new computer without any effort.

Using CS5 without wanting to upgrade, I would look at Dropbox or another cloud storage service.  The Dropbox folder is located on your C drive so you would be working locally at the best speed your computer can offer. More so, as you save a file, that file will automatically upload and sync to the cloud storage servers.  On your 2nd PC, you can login and install the same dropbox folder and it *should* sync your local C:/ folder with the cloud folder stored on their servers.  I've collaborated with companies many states away from mine using Adobe files and Dropbox and we collaborated without issue, in that instance, shared folders.

Now, I did just post a new forum myself about Creative Cloud not syncing between a collaborative folder and this is the first time I'm having an issue. For my personal, one user account, such as yourself, it's always worked and saved me time.

Do you mean CS5 Creative Suite, or do you mean the NEW programs included with Creative Cloud?

I do not use Cloud storage, so you will need to find out how to upload and sync your computer files to Cloud storage to then be able to download to a different computer

Trying to edit directly in Cloud storage is going to be a problem, especially with a slow connection, so plan on using a USB flash drive to transport files between computers

As you wanted to know if you can have Creative Cloud on two machines, you can have creative cloud installed and signed in on two computers, as long as you only use it on one at a time. Download and install as you did on the first computer, sign in to your Adobe account on the Adobe website using your Adobe ID, download the Cloud desktop app, then download the software.
